This book was really helpful and encouraging to me when I learned I was unexpectedly pregnant and on my own emotionally. Deals with how to address the touchy and difficult questions that children inevitably will ask. Very straightforward and honest. While I was not a teen mom, and was fortunate enough to be financially stable, I realize that many people reading this book may not be so lucky. Was really on the mark with advice to young moms not to rely on their parents too much or allow them to "take over" so to speak. By doing so, you will never be truly respected by your child. I have seen this happen so many times and it is sad and confusing for the child. My daughter is now a healthy happy thriving 2 year old and while I am still single, her father is a very positive important part of her daily life and for that I am grateful. Good luck to anyone who may be reading this book - your child will thank you for it someday!
This book has been so helpful as I am a single mother.
