Overview

"Sometimes you wake up in the morning and you just know it's going to be the kind of day where you end up tied to a chair in a filthy garage while a pair of tooth-deprived lunatics torment you with a chainsaw. So as I struggled against the ropes, I can't say I was all that surprised."

Yes, Andrew Mayhem, hero of the bestselling comedy/thriller Graverobbers Wanted (No Experience Necessary) is back. Still heroically brave. Still ridiculously irresponsible. And this time, becoming chainsaw fodder is one of his lesser worries.

He's learned his lesson about graverobbing, and when he agrees to accompany an elderly widow to a dinner party, he thinks he's simply acting as a bodyguard. The fact that the other guests believe he's a gigolo causes some concern, though not nearly as much concern as what happens next...

Another outrageous blend of the hilarious and the horrifying, SINGLE WHITE PSYCHOPATH SEEKS SAME is even more twisted than its predecessor, GRAVEROBBERS WANTED (NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY). Guaranteed to keep readers laughing, gasping, and guessing from beginning to end.

Editorial Reviews

"Remember "Graverobbers Wanted: No Experience Necessary"? Well this book continues with the same hilarious characters, one year later. Andrew Mayhem and Roger Tanglen are in trouble again! (And the author is still just as warped!) Yes, Jeff Strand has created another sick book with his famous warped sense of humor! In my opinion, it is even better than the first! Every time I burst out laughing my husband would tell me to hurry up and finish it so he could read it! It is a chaotic ride into the humorous, thrilling, and yet horrifying mind of Jeff Strand! Don't miss it!"

HUNTRESS BOOK REVIEWS

http://www.huntressreviews.com/efict.htm

"Trying to synopsize one of Mr. Strand's incredible works is rather like trying to stuff a full-grown elephant into a bag small enough to be carry-on luggage--it just isn't possible.

If you read the first book in this series, GRAVEROBBERS WANTED (NO EXPERIENCE

NECESSARY), then you have met Andrew Mayhem (whom I truly hate to call the "hero" of the series)--if you haven't, you have deprived yourself of a seriously hilarious read. Andrew has a rather odd attraction that seems to pull dismemberment intent wackos toward him--especially those with chainsaws as their chosen implements of victim creation. In this book, Mayhem is at it again. First the chainsaw types, and then the guy who deals in decapitation(s)--and Mr. Strand had the audacity to call him "headhunter."

Scribes World Reviews

http://www.scribesworld.com/reviews/

"The sequel to Grave Robbers Wanted, No experience Necessary (a Dream Realms Award winner for horror), Single White Psychopath SeeksSame manages to be both hilariously funny and wildly scary at the same time. The first person narration by Arthur and Roger is chockfull of great one-liners. They're the most hilarious pair of Fighters of Evil since Fox canceled the adventures of Briscoe County--in fact, Bruce Campbell would make a great Andrew, who is perfectly aware that, as heroes go, he's only a 4 1/2. His impossible predicament--get through the weekend without killing anyone, preferably without anyone else getting killed, or dying himself--allows the author plenty of room for gory fun. This one's a bit like the Scream films, so if you like your heroes slightly bumbling, and your chills laced with acerbic humor, you'll love this."

"SINGLE WHITE PSYCHOPATH SEEKS SAME is a fabulous book that will have you doubting your own sanity as you scream-laugh your way through the pages of this gory, sadistic,

Kramer-meets-Columbo-type thriller. I could not believe I was sitting there laughing out loud over a bloody scene about a psychopath with a buzzsaw, who definitely intends to dismember hapless but excruciatingly funny Andrew Mayhem. And that's only the opening scene. Mayhem grabs you on the very first page, and his danger escalates rapidly as he has to fight his way all though this incredible, yet believable and hilarious adventure that you can't help but love. Is it frightening? Absolutely! Do you laugh anyway? Oh, you bet! Quick, give me more by comic genius Jeff Strand, who has invented his own genre--the madly, wildly funny horror novel."

--Beth Anderson,

Author of Sounds

"A hot, bluesy novel"...Cindy Penn, Word Weaving

"Reading an Andrew Mayhem novel is sort of like being in the Alien Encounter attraction at Disney World -- you know the scary monster is going to pop out and drip blood on you sooner or later, and when it does, you shriek with laughter tinged with hysteria. While reading Jeff's newest book, Single White Psychopath Seeks Same, I often found myself shrieking, chortling, and downright giggling. SWP Seeks Same is a highly entertaining book. Andrew Mayhem's narration wrenches laughs out of you even when he's faced with death and destruction. You root for him to win--at any cost. In my opinion, Jeff Strand has to be one of the most original authors in the world today. His subgenre is comic horror -- and he is the master."

-- Monette Michaels,

author of FATAL VISION, DEATH BENEFITS, and VESTED INTERESTS.

"Single White Psychopath Seeks Same takes you on a ride faster than any rollercoaster, promising thrills, giggles, and chills, as he takes you from one impossible situation to another. With his latest outstanding creation, Jeff Strand has proven he is a master and has this reader waiting for his next Andrew Mayhem adventure."

--Patricia A. Rasey,

author of Deadly Obsession and Kiss of Deceit

"Rather than giving the reader an invincible hero, Mr. Strand portrays Andrew Mayhem as a real guy who makes mistakes and cracks jokes. Easily loved and very believable, Andrew is a character most readers can identify with. Mr. Strand's quick wit and conversational writing style keep the pages turning. If you are in need of a laugh or looking for an entertaining ride, try Single White Psychopath Seeks Same." --Michelle McBride, Ivy Quill Reviews
