Private Investigator Sloane Monroe has solved every case that's come across her desk with the exception of one-the brutal murder of her sister
What if you'd been given a second chance to catch your sister's killer-would you take it? And if you did, would a maximum sentence behind bars be justice enough, or would he have to pay...with his life?
Private Investigator Sloane Monroe has solved every case that's come across her desk with the exception of one-the brutal murder of her sister Gabrielle. Three years ago the killer slipped into the shadows, but today he'll reappear again in the form of a female victim.
Park City, Utah was a peaceful place until Sinnerman came to town. Who is he, and why does he prey on innocent women?

GREAT SERIES! If you are looking for a great PI series, this is it. Ms. Bradshaw has created a wonderful character with Sloan Monroe. All of the books in this series are quick reads that you will not want to put down. They are full of twists and turns and will keep you guessing until the end. They can be read as stand-alones, as Ms. Bradshaw does a great job of letting the reader in on any back stories that she makes reference to. That being said, I prefer to read any series in order, as character development sometimes gets lost in the shuffle when you read something out of order. A word of warning: This book has also been released with a different title -- "Murder in Mind." They are the same book! If you read any of these and are looking to purchase the rest in the series (as I did after reading the first and becoming hooked), keep that in mind. I almost purchased them both before realizing they were the same book. Thank you so much, Ms. Bradshaw, for this wonderful series! Can't wait to read them all! -- SPeeD
Of course I always start the wrong way. Read the last book and then search out the rest. I now have read everything and can't wait to read more from Cheryl. She has her own place on my bookshelf and I highly recommend her books.
I was looking for a free book on my mom kindle fire, i found this one and started to read the description and thought it seemed interesting so i got it and read it in one day.
