If you are looking for a great PI series, this is it. Ms. Bradshaw has created a wonderful character with Sloan Monroe. All of the books in this series are quick reads that you will not want to put down. They are full of twists and turns and will keep you guessing until the end. They can be read as stand-alones, as Ms. Bradshaw does a great job of letting the reader in on any back stories that she makes reference to. That being said, I prefer to read any series in order, as character development sometimes gets lost in the shuffle when you read something out of order.
A word of warning: This book has also been released with a different title -- "Murder in Mind." They are the same book! If you read any of these and are looking to purchase the rest in the series (as I did after reading the first and becoming hooked), keep that in mind. I almost purchased them both before realizing they were the same book.
Thank you so much, Ms. Bradshaw, for this wonderful series! Can't wait to read them all!

Of course I always start the wrong way. Read the last book and then search out the rest. I now have read everything and can't wait to read more from Cheryl. She has her own place on my bookshelf and I highly recommend her books. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
