More About This Book

Overview

Some say that Evil, like Love, never dies. 20 years ago Kayla DeWitt met Dezi Gianni and a whirlwind romance began. A romance filled with love, joy, intrigue, deception and ultimately death. Still, after all she'd been through and all she'd lost, Kayla thought of him often. No other man touched her soul as deeply as Dezi had.
She still loved Dezi even though she knew seeing him again was wishful thinking, thinking that ultimately reminded her of his burial deep within the earth and her hearts loss. It was well overdue for Kayla to concentrate on her life in the present, not what once was, in the past. For the sake of her sanity and the wellbeing of her family, she had to completely, utterly, forget Dezi Gianni, once and for all.
Karma however has its own ideas, and like it or not her past isn't going to be denied as it raises its head once more and stares Kayla straight in the face.

    I Also Recommend:

    Romance gone terribly wrong

There's an old saying that states, 'Love never dies.' Unfortunately, neither does evil. K R Bankston could have just as easily titled her book, Bloodline, because three families are touched in a very strange way by one man who had been buried 20 years ago, Dezi Gianni. Some familiar names from Bankston's first book of the series, A Deadly Encounter, play pivotal roles in this sequel, some for the better, and some for the worse.

The story starts off simple enough as a romance, girl has a failing romance with boy A, new boy B arrives in town, girl and new boy B fall in love, old boy A tries to win girl back. But the formula changes here, because boy B has a calculating dark side that won't let anything or anyone interfere with the girl he has fallen for.

Sins of the Father is a story of lost love, new found love, redemption and revenge. It's a perfect companion piece to A Deadly Encounter.

    I love it!!!

KR, you have done it again! "Sins of the Father" was absolutely exciting and not to mention mind-blowing!!! So many loose ends, from "A Deadly Encounter", were tied in this sequel and I can't wait for more to come!!! This is an absolute buy!!!
