Paul Clouse believes his worries may finally be over. Though the past two years of his life have been horrific, he hopes things are going to change.

His first wife was murdered, his son abducted, and his best friend killed by unknown assailants, but each time he has managed to survive.

This Halloween the rules have changed, and the killer seems to stay one step ahead of everyone. Clouse finds himself losing more friends to the killer's grasp, and wonders exactly how he can stop a madman who seems to know more about the West Baden Springs Hotel and his life than anyone else around him. As the body count grows, the legend of Father Ernest returns to haunt Clouse one last time.

His only hope is to sort through the past of the hotel and the people around him to discover the killer's identity before it's too late.

A mysterious set of diaries left by the hotel's former occupants quickly become his only hope to save himself and everyone left around him.

    Keeps you thinking!

This was an excellent trilogy. Patrick definately was very creative in keeping the reader wondering who was responsble for all the murders in this story. I can't wait to read more of his work!

    Suspense - Suspense - Suspense

The West Baden Springs third and final book in the series will leave you wanting more, more, more! We can only hope Clouse returns ready to battle whatever forces may cross his path. True to form, the author will have you on the edge of your seat. When you think you have it figured out... well - you probably don't. He's a master of surprises. Highly recommended!

Ending? to the West Baden Trilogy ?

After reading the first two books of the West Baden Trilogy I couldn't wait to get to Sins of the Father. Mr. O'Brian's ability to keep you 'in' the story makes it very hard to put these books down. I thought I had it all figured out but he put a very unexpected twist at the end. Kinda makes me wonder if it is really a trilogy. I would highly recommend reading other books by this author!!!
