Editorial Reviews

Amazon.Com - Candy Webb
I read the entire book in one day because I could not put it down. Chelsea Hoffman does a great job of analyzing each case.
By providing chilling details of the crimes she takes you along the path of being kidnapped, tortured and killed by some of America's most depraved criminals. As a journalist who spent years covering local crime I have a keen interest in the workings of the criminal mind. Ms. Hoffman's ability to educate her readers about crime is a true talent.....

This is a very graphically detailed book at times, particularly the chapter on David Parker Ray and Cindy Hendy, a pair of truly sadistic sexual predators. This is the chapter that wrecked my sleep. The written portion of the tape they played for their new victims was graphically horrendous. And even worse was a photo included of one of the victims. That photo was haunting.

This "book" is poorly written and poorly edited.  It's lagubrious.  It's not at all interesting until you get to the chapter where the author has personal communication with a convicted murderer.  Then it's not any better, it becomes distinctly uncomfortable as the author describes her bond and sympathy for a convicted killer.  Definitely not worth the money.

Wow.  I want my money back.  That was atrocious.  I kept reading, hoping it would get better but it never did.  Thankfully it's a short book with a lot of useless pictures.  I think the author used the pics to make  it seem longer.  A little editing probably would have helped.  Save your money for a good book.
