About the Author

María Dueñas is the author of the New York Times bestselling novel The Time In Between, which has sold more than three million copies. It has been translated into almost forty languages and adapted into an acclaimed television series that became a phenomenon in the Spanish-speaking world. Maria holds a PhD in English and was a college professor for almost twenty years. She is the author of five novels and participates in book fairs and literary events all over the world. She is currently involved in audiovisual projects and is working on the adaptation of Sira to a new television series.
