About the Author

I am a new author, and a freelance writer, hailing from the enchanting landscapes of southwestern Pennsylvania. I’ve written poetry and short stories for over 20 years. This is my first children’s story. I love traveling, waterfalls, binge watching Netflix, and playing Ark Ascended on Xbox. I adore dogs, and some characters in the story are based lightly on the four I have raised. Chewie is based on my comical sweetheart purebred Siberian, Zaila; Hungrie is based on my ornery Pomsky, Nova; Itchie is based on beautiful my purebred White German Shepherd, Lulu; and Siren is based on my other beloved purebred Siberian, Syrenn; who recently lost his battle with epilepsy and/or a brain tumor.
