Sisters of Avalonby Cyndi Lauper
Cyndi Lauper made a valiant effort to jump start her career with the varied and eclectic Sisters of Avalon. Working with producer Mark Saunders, Lauper attempts to work worldbeat, adult alternative, and even trip-hop influences into her trademark adult contemporary pop, and while the results aren't always successful, the record is the most intriguing and rewarding album she made since True Colors.

This is a truly good album . I love it. I never get tired of it. Theres some slow songs, theres like 4 fast songs that are cute. She still just wants to have fun. And the hit song ''You don't know'' is amazing. I love it. Theres only 1 song I don't care for but all the rest are so awsome. You have to get this album. Its one of my favorites . Her voice is beautiful.
This is one of my favorite cds. The entire album keeps up the pace. Its earthy, fun and catchy at different times. The more you listen the more you will appreciate this piece as a whole. I love all of Cyndi's stuff. This one never feels old or dated.
This is a fantastic album, this album didn't get the publicity when it was released, so it did not sell that well, which is a shame. This album is a excellent album, and the fact that it didn't sell as good as other albums by her is tragic. This is definately worth listening too again and again and again.
