    laugh at death

Six Feet Under will make any family's response to death appear normal. It offers the reader the opportunity to experience the same event from the family's varying perspectives. Based on the drama series that takes a darkly comical look at members of a dysfunctional Pasadena family that runs an independent funeral home. With the prodigal elder son (Peter Krause) returning home for the holidays to shattering news, the family must learn to deal with a death of their own, while figuring out how to go ahead with the business of the living. A funny and emotional look at a grieving American family...that Each member of the family experiences death in a different way and each perspective is valid. This book and Grace under Fire by Charlotte Russell Johnson are the perfect books for someone struggling with grief. They are able to help make a very traumatic time a little more endurable. It is very challenging to take one of the most trying times death and make it entertaining.

    GORGEOUS book!

This is such a beautifully put together book. If you're a big fan of the show, it's definately a very nice keepsake for you to have. Has lot's of pictures dating from the first season complete with captions and excerpts of 'Nathanial and Isabel', and 'Charlotte: The Guiding Light'. Worth every penny.

    Totally Awesome Book

This is a really unique book. It digs deeper into the lives of all the characters on the show, and also has some poignant excerpts about death and life. The introduction by Alan Ball is particularly compelling. It's one of the best TV companion books I've ever seen.
