Book 2
April Frost is a compassionate young woman with a steady job and ambitious goals. But the harder she runs away from her past, the more it threatens to destroy her. When three strangers enter her life, April is forced to face her demons and it’s a battle she may not win.

Private investigators in the Breed world are men who take risks, and Reno Cole is no exception. As a Shifter, he’s expected to control his inner animal. But lately his wolf has been venturing dangerously close to the city, and he’s about to discover why. When Reno is reintroduced to a family friend, the attraction is immediate. April captivates him with her secretive eyes and resilient spirit. She’s also in trouble, and despite the fact she’s a human, Reno can’t turn his back on her.

April is caught between two worlds: One that threatens to bury her dreams and another that could fulfill them. Can she trust the wolf at her door and find the courage to overcome her demons?

Editorial Reviews

website - Smokin' Hot Book Blog
"Dannika Dark's Seven series is a great, steamy paranormal romance, I devoured in matter of hours. It was all kind of sexy, a little bit kinky and fast paced, heartwarming story, from which I got my very needed paranormal fix."
review - Tamara Rose Blodgett - NYT Bestselling Author
"A fractured and reluctant heroine, plus a reticent alpha hero equals an awesome story of choice, retribution and love. Six Months has it all!"
website - Wicked Women Book Blog
"She creates characters that you can wrap your hands around and feel and smell and hear. Characters that sweet talk you into stepping into their skins to walk a lifetime in their shoes and you find yourself just grateful for the opportunity. They're real and messy and gorgeous in their tangibility."

    4.5 Stars

RenoLicious!!!!! I love Dannika Dark. It amazes me she is the same author who writes the Mageri series, because it seems like a different person to me. I enjoy the Seven series just as much as The Mageri series, but they are two different story lines and the Seven expands. I love how she deals with the growing "pack" and them finding their mates. The build up of passion in this book comes across as natural and pure which is very hard to find these days ;) I truly enjoyed reading six months and will continue reading Dannika Dark stories. She is an author who will take you into another world for as long as you need to get away.. Enjoy!

Let me just say I thought I was in love with Austin but....Reno WOW!!! Dannika please don't make us wait very long for the next book. I could not put the book down. The only complaint is that the books are too short. I'm really bummed when I get to the last page and it's over. I love the story line and characters. What a wonderful series I Love, Love, Love it.
Dannika keep up the good work.

    Fantastic

I could not put the book down, only a couple of times for a bath room break. What a beautiful story. Fell in love with a couple of those shifters in this book! Always love stories with humans dating shifters, so easy to relate to. This will be another book i add to my most favorite. Worst part? Reading the last page. Please hurry with next book in this series! : )

Some people have no luck but somehow they manage to survive

April struggles to make ends meet and survive a loan shark that will not let go. The Weston pack comes through multiple obstacles to save the day while struggling with how to forgive and forget. A new controversial love story arises that threatens the pack. Twist and turns to keep you wondering what's next but I have to say I like Seven Years and 5 weeks (the sequel to this book) better so keep reading and be ready for the next installment of a great series.

Six Months is book two in Dannika¿s Seven Series and our leading

Six Months is book two in Dannika’s Seven Series and our leading man is Reno Cole! And April Frost as the spitfire kickass heroine!!
So April works at the candy shop that Lexi owns now and she walks home every night. One fateful evening, she learns that the debts her grandmother had before she passed away she thought were repaid… aren’t ALL repaid…
Reno is a GIANT M&M I swear!! Lol Hard on the outside and soft, gooey and melty on the inside…
April is given a hell of a lot of obstacles in this book, a debt that’s not hers but is now, Trevor’s…issues (and trust me, this one is a doozy... lol), Reno (stubborn ass sexy man). April is used to being on her own for the most part and I was really able to relate to her. She has a love of all animals which could have been very bad for her, but ends up being a very amazing good part in the end. She sure does make Reno’s wolf scratch and howl... hehe.
I am so worried about the fate of Reno and April however, because of April being a human and aging at human rates of speed and Reno aging MUCH much slower being a shifter… I hope something gets figured out there…
I can’t wait to read Five Weeks!!
I give this book 5 out of 5 shields!!

    Totally Awesome!!

Wow!! I could not put this book down. I was captivated from the very beginning until the end. This writer is extremely talented and have moved up to my #1 on my list! Books like this, I don't mind paying over $5 for; its worth every penny! I figured Reno and April would get together. This book has me fantasizing about me being in his arms vs her lol. I'm anxious to see what the story is on Wheeler, if Denver is gay also lol and what the history is behind Ivy. Oh, also where the heck those diamonds are and when they will resurface. KAiken

    Dannika rocks!

This story is about Reno and April and once again I was riveted from the first page. Reno is a tough man but April gives him feelings he didn't think he would have from a human. Reno is brother to Austin, the Packmaster, and April is friends and works with Austins mate Lexi.
April lives an existence she wants no one to know about. She lives in what could barely be called a trailer, barely eating. All her money goes to a loan shark, paying a debt for her mom that passed away from Cancer.
Reno gets involved because of this and as much as she tries to hide it, he eventually finds out. His wolf even sleeps outside her trailer at times to protect her. As they face their feelings for one another he helps her.
As soon as I devoured this book, yes...it was more than a "read" I signed up for her website to make sure I got her next book about brother Jericho.
