April Frost is a compassionate young woman with a steady job and ambitious goals. But the harder she runs away from her past, the more it threatens to destroy her. When three strangers enter her life, April is forced to face her demons and it's a battle she may not win.

Private investigators in the Breed world are men who take risks, and Reno Cole is no exception. As a Shifter, he's expected to control his inner animal. But lately his wolf has been venturing dangerously close to the city, and he's about to discover why. When Reno is reintroduced to a family friend, the attraction is immediate. April captivates him with her secretive eyes and resilient spirit. She's also in trouble, and despite the fact she's a human, Reno can't turn his back on her.

April is caught between two worlds: One that threatens to bury her dreams and another that could fulfill them. Can she trust the wolf at her door and find the courage to overcome her demons?

Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher
"A fractured and reluctant heroine, plus a reticent alpha hero equals an awesome story of choice, retribution and love. Six Months has it all!" ---Tamara Rose Blodgett, author of Blood Reign

4.5 Stars RenoLicious!!!!! I love Dannika Dark. It amazes me she is the same author who writes the Mageri series, because it seems like a different person to me. I enjoy the Seven series just as much as The Mageri series, but they are two different story lines and the Seven expands. I love how she deals with the growing "pack" and them finding their mates. The build up of passion in this book comes across as natural and pure which is very hard to find these days ;) I truly enjoyed reading six months and will continue reading Dannika Dark stories. She is an author who will take you into another world for as long as you need to get away.. Enjoy!

5 STARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Amen Sister.... RenoLicious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let me just say I thought I was in love with Austin but....Reno WOW!!! Dannika please don't make us wait very long for the next book. I could not put the book down. The only complaint is that the books are too short. I'm really bummed when I get to the last page and it's over. I love the story line and characters. What a wonderful series I Love, Love, Love it. Dannika keep up the good work.

Wow!! I could not put this book down. I was captivated from the very beginning until the end. This writer is extremely talented and have moved up to my #1 on my list! Books like this, I don't mind paying over $5 for; its worth every penny! I figured Reno and April would get together. This book has me fantasizing about me being in his arms vs her lol. I'm anxious to see what the story is on Wheeler, if Denver is gay also lol and what the history is behind Ivy. Oh, also where the heck those diamonds are and when they will resurface. KAiken

April struggles to make ends meet and survive a loan shark that will not let go. The Weston pack comes through multiple obstacles to save the day while struggling with how to forgive and forget. A new controversial love story arises that threatens the pack. Twist and turns to keep you wondering what's next but I have to say I like Seven Years and 5 weeks (the sequel to this book) better so keep reading and be ready for the next installment of a great series.

This story is about Reno and April and once again I was riveted from the first page. Reno is a tough man but April gives him feelings he didn't think he would have from a human. Reno is brother to Austin, the Packmaster, and April is friends and works with Austins mate Lexi. April lives an existence she wants no one to know about. She lives in what could barely be called a trailer, barely eating. All her money goes to a loan shark, paying a debt for her mom that passed away from Cancer. Reno gets involved because of this and as much as she tries to hide it, he eventually finds out. His wolf even sleeps outside her trailer at times to protect her. As they face their feelings for one another he helps her. As soon as I devoured this book, yes...it was more than a "read" I signed up for her website to make sure I got her next book about brother Jericho.

Book two in the Seven series. First we met Austin and Lexi, now we get April and Reno’s story. After reading Seven Years, I didn’t think I’d be able to invest in future stories like I had Austin and Lexi’s but I WAS PROVEN WRONG! There is something so powerful about two people that shouldn’t be together but just can’t fight it. April is suffering in silence with all the debt her grandmother left behind. April learns quickly that her grandmother owed several shady characters money and that her debts didn’t die with her. April finds herself making choices she never thought possible. On top of that she’s trying to figure out how to make a relationship with Reno work and accepting what her friends are. When push comes to shove, April finds herself having to decide what she’s willing to give up for the safety of those she loves. Then we have Reno. What can I say about him? Uhm…first he’s hot as hell. Second, he shows April a side of himself not many get to see and third (as if he isn’t sexy enough) he stands up for April and their relationship. Dannika’s writing is brilliant. It grabs hold of you from the first page and doesn’t let you go! I CANNOT wait for the next installment. - “We’re all broken. Don’t you see that? We’re just pieces of ourselves, trying to fit with someone else to become whole. You and I fit.”

I could not put the book down, only a couple of times for a bath room break. What a beautiful story. Fell in love with a couple of those shifters in this book! Always love stories with humans dating shifters, so easy to relate to. This will be another book i add to my most favorite. Worst part? Reading the last page. Please hurry with next book in this series! : )

Six Months is the second installment in Dannika Dark's light paranormal romance series titled Seven. To make this review short and sweet, I thought I'd get right to the point: I enjoyed... -Learning more about the shifter world featured in this series. -The great storytelling...and the men ;) -Seeing more of the characters from the first book. I did not enjoy... -The weak heroine (IMO)...to the point of annoyance. -The heroine's continued references to "my inner voice". It felt too much like FSOG's repetitive "inner goddess". -The audio experience, specifically the heroine's voice. (Do you notice a theme here?) Each book in this series focuses on a different shifter and centers on life within the pack along with a romance. Just because I didn't enjoy the female lead in Six Months, I still plan on continuing the series. My hope is that future books will offer stronger women. I liked the heroine in the first book so fingers crossed! My favorite quotes: "I can speak from experience when I tell you that running won't get rid of your problems. They always catch up with you. And if you've spent your life running from them, you'll be too damned tired to fight them off." "Sometimes it's OK to let people know you don't have everything under control. Nobody's perfect and it doesn't say anything bad about you. We all have things going on in our personal life but you can't carry that burden alone."
