About the Author

Emre Tokgöz, Ph.D., wrote this book based on extensive research, projects, and teaching experiences gained during his training of university students in Six Sigma, which included both Black Belt and Green Belt certifications. He collaborated with industry partners in the New York and Connecticut areas of the United States and also drew on his experience as a professor at the State University of New York's Farmingdale State College branch. Dr. Tokgoz completed two Ph.D. degrees, one in mathematics and the other one in industrial engineering. He also holds four master's degrees in computer science, mathematics, engineering management, and biomedical engineering, in addition to a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in mathematics. His research, publication, and teaching areas and interests included cybersecurity, AI and its applications, pedagogy, optimization, biomedical engineering, robotics, game theory, network analysis, financial engineering, facility allocation, inventory systems, queueing theory analysis, supply chain, renewable energy sources, STEM education, engineering management, and Riemannian geometry.
