Meet the Author

Deanna Chase is a native Californian, transplanted to the slower paced lifestyle of southeastern Louisiana. When she isn't writing, she is often goofing off with her husband in New Orleans, playing with her two shih tzu dogs, making glass beads, or out hocking her books. Angie Fox is the New York Times bestselling author of several books about vampires, werewolves, and things that go bump in the night. She is best known for her Accidental Demon Slayer urban fantasy series. When Julie Kenner was knee-high to a grasshopper (an expression that she would like it known she has never, ever used in real life) she informed her parents that she was going to be a novelist, and proceeded to write Kitty Claws, a bestselling book about a cat as Santa. Mindy Klasky learned to read when her parents shoved a book in her hands and told her that she could travel anywhere in the world through stories. She never forgot that advice. Rose Pressey is a USA TODAY bestselling author. She enjoys writing quirky and fun novels with a paranormal twist. The paranormal has always captured her interest. The thought of finding answers to the unexplained fascinates her. Many authors claim to have known their calling from a young age; however, Liz Schulte didn't always want to be an author. In fact, she had no clue. Liz wanted to be a veterinarian, then she wanted to be a lawyer, then she wanted to be a criminal profiler. In a valiant effort to keep from becoming Walter Mitty, Liz put pen to paper and began writing her first novel.

Best Deal for Paranormal Romance Lovers!!! HAUNTED ON BOURBON S

Best Deal for Paranormal Romance Lovers!!! HAUNTED ON BOURBON STREET by Deanna Chase: This is the first book in Deanna Chase's "A Jade Calhoun Novel" series. Our heroine, Jade Calhoun, is an empath who recently left Idaho to move to New Orleans to be near her best friend Kat. She teaches a glass bead making class and works part time at "The Grind" coffee shop owned and run by Pyper. She lives in an apartment over a strip club in the French Quarter which is owned by the ever so sexy landlord Kane and business partner of Pyper's. On Jade's first night in her apartment she encounters a ghost who seems sexually drawn to her! Throw in a witch, a ghost hunter, a low-level Angel, a violent ex-boyfriend and a strong lesbian bar tender and you have a host of characters that make this paranormal romance a fun and entertaining adventure! Be forewarned, you won't be able to put this book down! I've read it twice!! It's that good!

I will post my comments on each book as I finish reading it! I can't wait to delve into the other 5 books!

    Hello

First book was interesting except for the fall down and drama, get hit in the head and drama, fall down and drama, get smacked in the face and drama, fall down and drama, etc, etc, etc. The book about the griffin was definitely written with imagination and different attitude than expected from a child teacher. The books are fine for 99 cents, some of the story plot was tedious, and would have been good teenage fodder with all the drama and angst except for the Hustler sex scenes. NOT a collection for teenage readers; sex scenes too graphic in a couple of the books.

A Set that is a Must Have

Each book was a great read and would highly recommend. Especially if you like these types of stories. The value is unbelivable also. A Must Buy!

To me they were cutsie witch stories

I have to admit that I skipped thru 2 of the books without reading them completely through. I found a couple of the books lacking the humor they attempted but overall, it was still worth the .99 for the bundle. The best book was the "Easy Bake Coven" which was the last book. Even that got a wee bit ridiculous with witches, goblins, vampires, trolls, etc..... way too many critters for me but it was a good storyline.

    Six Times a Charm

I read the 1st book, which was interesting. I started on the 2nd book, which was trash. So far I'm currently reading the newest Alex Cross book.
Eventually, I will read the rest of these books, but they were cheap so it doesn't matter if I delete them.

    Very enjoyable!

I bought these because it was a great deal first off. I already had one of these books in my Nook library, but I could not pass up the deal. I really enjoy Rose Pressey's writing and Angie Fox. These have been fun books to read!
