Overview

The Duke of Sedgewick’s best friends asked for a favor - they wanted him to teach their little sister about sex. He should have said no because if it went too far, he might love her to death.

Beneath the famous Sedgewick honor lies an infamous secret. Despite popular wisdom, Sedgewicks do fall in love - they just can't marry for it. The unbroken line of unions for wealth and power wasn't spawned by respect for bloodlines, but rather by a centuries old faerie curse. Any woman a Sedgewick wed for love would die before she birthed a child.

Each duke betrothed himself to a woman he could never love and no Sedgewick betrothal had ever been broken. The luckier of the dukes lavished the love they couldn't risk for their wives on their mistresses. The current Duke of Sedgewick, Bozworth Harrison, wasn't lucky. Boz met the Malone brothers before he could lace his shoes and Lily shortly after her first breath. He didn't know when his fondness for the child changed to love for the woman. But he knew the favor he should refuse promised a taste of the forever he couldn't have and his sixth sense pawed like a fractious horse at the starting pistol.

Surely he could teach Lily about physical love, preserve her virginity for her future husband and still walk down the aisle with his cold, calculating fiancée. Couldn’t he?

Meet the Author

Mary Anne Graham, who also writes as Olivia Outlaw, is an attorney in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She writes contemporary, historical and erotic romance.

Her stories often feature heroes who fall so much in love that they go a little batty, acting the way many of us wish that our lovers would behave. The characters in her tales are more apt to battle society's rules than to follow them. She believes in second chances and that the world needs more love and less judgment.

You can reach Mary Anne, a/k/a Olivia, through her blog "Quacking Alone" or her Facebook Page "Quacking Alone Romances". Please also follow her on Twitter at quackingalone.

    It's ok

I thought it would be as good as the first of the series "A Fairie Fated Forever" but it was not quite as good.
The writter gets so rapped up with the main character's sexual cravings that the story starts to get too crazy.
I thought I would get the next of the series, but I didn't think it would be worth it.

The series didn't get better, maybe even worse! I really liked

The series didn't get better, maybe even worse! I really liked Boz in the two previous books, but didn't care for him in his story. Please Ms. Graham, list your books under erotica, because they are not the usual romance story, with love and lovemaking. I liked the story lines for the two previous books (bought the bundle), but the storyline in this book was unbelievable. I will not be buying book 4. (ljb).

I admit ,the first few chapters were confusing and at times I had to go back and re read a paragraph but......after chapter 3 it really picked up. I laughed ,I cried and I shouted. This a love story to make you go aweeee. Great secondary characters that I can't wait to read their stories next !
