Overview

On a cold autumn day on the outskirts of London, an old man makes a simple decision to catch a bus. It is an unremarkable choice, easily made and easily forgotten. But on that particular day, like a rain drop falling on the surface of a still pond, the impact of the old man’s decision generates ripples of consequence that wash over the city around him.

Aiden, a thirty-something bank teller living in a cluttered basement in London, struggles against the mediocrity of his dull working existence, unaware that the complex workings of fate will soon snag on his life. When it does, that ripple of change delivers a gift of unimaginable happiness. As he rides the wave of good fortune he can not know that the same thread of fate - shaped and molded by the choices of others - will return.

Recommended - just a really good read!

The story seems to be made up of several smaller stories but in the end it all pulls together and wraps up into a really nice fit. Makes you think about how some of the things in your own life come to be. Just a really good book and well worth you time.

Highly Recommended - The kind of book you just can't put down.

This is one of those books you just can't put down, as you can't wait to see how the common thread of seemingly inconsequential thread of decisions impacts the next part.
