Overview

Ex-Olympic skier Danny Porter knows little about celebrating the holidays. He’s been training for gold since he was a boy and had turned into a complete workaholic. After being injured in a horrible skiing accident, Danny was forced to take a job in advertising, something he loathed. While he was damn good at what he did, his distaste showed, along with his nasty attitude. Fired from a posh position, he feels compelled to accept his sister’s invitation to share Thanksgiving with her family. Bitter and outraged, he keeps the chip on his shoulder, choosing to wear the boulder like a badge of honor. Maybe he’d give skiing another try as an attempt to soothe the savage beast threatening to keep him alone for the rest of his life.

Jessie Marks is used to the finer things in life, having owned a several successful business. But one of them in dire straits and he’s about two months away from infusing the last of his own money or coming up with a hot new marketing campaign. Determined to beat the odds, Jessie sequesters himself away in his cabin on Sundance Mountain. His only recreation? Skiing down a particularly dangerous hillside. Unaware of a major snowstorm approaching Utah, Jessie takes out on a blustery day for a solid run on the slopes. When he sees what appears to be a single soul attempting the same feat, he grows curious. Good and bad sparks fly instantly between Jessie and Danny just as the snow starts to fall and they’re forced back to Jessie’s cabin to wait out the storm. Both men hard headed, they spar on every topic until a sizzling winter night helps them realize they were destined to meet. As moment of near tragedy forces one man to rally hard against his personal demons, a moment of hesitation may cost more than a moment of passion. It may cost one man his life.
