What do you want to know about skateboarding? Do you know how to ollie? Are you interested in learning how to boardslide or kickflip? You can find a lot of information in this comprehensive nonfiction book. According to the authors, anyone can use a skateboard with a lot of practice and training. The basic skills of skateboarding are all about foot placement, balance, and compression. This helpful guidebook introduces skateboarding tips about necessary equipment, clothing style, accident prevention, and basic skateboarding techniques. The layout of the book is straightforward and includes a table of contents, safety tips, anatomy of a skateboard, understanding the basics of skateboarding, fourteen tricks a person should know, and the history of skateboarding.
