I have mixed feelings about Marilyn Lee. Some of her books are really good and some are really bad. This book is in the middle of the two extremes. It's okay. It does not leave you wanting to read more of her stories....

Aside from the typos throughout the book, I loved the story. I could feel all of Jake's emotions. Great read!

At first I was worried because of the style the authors used giving eacg characters perspective. In the end that is what made the book so good. I loved the male character, flaws and all. If you like a take charge kind of guy who knows how to bend a little, this is the story for you. It was hard for me to put this one down.

I appreciate how she highlights the truths about how image-driven our culture can be. The main male is a bit shallow, but he gets better toward the end. The main female is witty and doesn't take any mess from him on one hand, but is totally captivated by his looks and allows him to get away with the same stupidity women allow in real life. Overall, great story.

Compound that with Jake's weakness, Bree's insecurity and a manipulative in-law and you have a great read. The sex scenes are graphic yet well written. You feel as if you are the character. Great price for the book. You will not regret spending your money for this five star read.
