One of the best books that ive ever read!!!

This book was about a girl maleeka who gets teased about how black she is. The only way for her to stop being teased is if she becomes friends with charlese (aka char) jones, one of the meanest bullies in the school. She has to do chars homework and does whatever char tells her to do. Even though shes friends with char, shes still being teased by john john and hos friends. When ms.saunders comes to teach at their school, kids start talking about that white spot on her face. Ms.saunders starts geting into maleekas business...to hear more, you HAVE TO READ THE BOOK!!!!! :)

    Read this very important

I think this is really well written. To well infact. The book does get into a lot of detail. It isnt really a book for 10 years or younger. Theres lot of stuff in there that may be too intense for kids. But it does tell a great lesson for TEENS. Again not so much a great book for young ones.

    Touched...

This book nearly made me cry! It talks about the meaning of self-acceptance, and how Maleeka learns to express herself through her writing. A MUST READ! Especially for youth. Learn to love yourself AND the skin you're in! :)

    Good book...

This book has a great lesson. In this world, no person is the same. People have all different types of hair, skin, eye, ect color. I think that's a beautiful thing. To be unique is to be you. Always want to be you. People will always say rude things to you but you cant let them get to you. Always love yourself no matter what people say about you. Love yourself forever and always.<3
