I Also Recommend:

    One of my favorites!

I personally love this series. It is a lot of fun and totally worth the money (even with 20 volumes and counting). The characters are really well developed that the plot (while not necessarily realistic) is great and leads to some hilarious moments (as do the character's personalities in general). Basically it's about a girl finding herself in the world of showbiz as she tries to get back at a guy that hurt her (I promise that it's not as pathetic as it sounds). Her abilities blossom as she forms friendships and gets experience in the field. Furthermore, the guys in this series are absolutely awesome. Ren is always hot and leaves you wanting more, Sho is arrogant and a jerk that still has some kind of charm (though you still want to punch him in the face), and Lori never fails to make you fall out of your seat laughing just by appearing in one panel.

If you're looking for something that will make you laugh, get you excited, and take you out of the 'real world' for a little while, please give it a try. Honestly, I think it's the best manga I've read yet and I haven't come across someone yet who didn't like it (and I've given it to friends that don't like manga and friends that don't like shoujo alike). You wont be disappointed.

    Love it

This Manga is my absolute favorite, and I have been following it for the last four years. With 204 chapters and the main characters still haven't confessed it's not a quick read. However it has not been boring and there is at least one awesome point in every volume. Even if you're hesitant, give this one a try, I did and I love every chapter.

    A True Heroine!

Kyoko was a kind, sweet girl bending over backwards to do anything she could to help her best friend, Sho. Until he dumps her in Tokyo after revealing she's only his maid to her. Does she cry? No! She kicks it up to mythlogical grudge mode and vows to get her revenge on him if its the last thing she does. This series is funny, heart-stopping, emotional, and (later books) becomes very romantic as this young girl throws away her former self to embrace a bit of darkness while also healing the darkness in others. THe cast of characters are great, even if you hate the jerks, you still want to know what's going on. Anyone will love this series!

    Fercious and Funny Revenge

This is a strange but funny and surprisingly touching manga. This girl lived for her boyfriend and now that the creep has dumped her she seem to have forgotten how to live for anything save revenge. I liked this manga. It has alot of heart and a very likable heroine. I can't wait to see if she manages to cream her king of all jerks ex boyfriend. Who doesn't love sweet revenge?

I say its an okay series.

A new frien di met in the manga section at barnes and noble suggested these to me almost immediately. I read the first couple. They were okay, but i always enjoy the really actiony adventure ones.

When Sho decides to leave home and go to Tokyo after junior high

When Sho decides to leave home and go to Tokyo after junior high to be come a celebrity he asks Kyoko to go with him. Sho is her childhood friend and she would do anything for him, so she drops out of school as well and goes to Tokyo. However, Sho has grown distant since being in Tokyo and is rarely ever around and when he is, he is never happy Kyoko is sure that when Sho beats Ren in status he will become happy again and they will live happily ever after. However, Kyoko's dream is shattered when she over hears Sho at work talking about Kyoko and how he views her as a maid and that is why he asked her to come along. Kyoko left her future behind to follow Sho... now what will she do?

This was really just the introductory to the story. You see how hard Kyoko is working with two jobs just to help pay bills and support Sho. She is literally running herself into the ground. When she goes to Sho's agency to surprise him, she see's him being awefully friendly with his manager and overhears what he really thinks of Kyoko. Something inside her snaps and she just lets loose on Sho. She declares that she will become a celebrity too and she will make him eat his words about her being plain and boring. The only thing is, she has to get signed by an agency first... and she doesn't really have any talent. This volume is centered around Kyoko changing her life and trying to get into an agency, but not just any agency, Ren's agency.

I look forward to getting more into the story and finding out what happens.

You may not be big on romance, but if you're looking for an original heroine who's not swooning over some stuck up jerk, this is the manga for you. Brilliant, funny, and totally original characters make this story worth not only the read, but the buy.
