Editorial Reviews

School Library Journal
Gr 5-8-In this whirlwind adventure, Meg and Alison find themselves fighting for survival as they prepare to spend the summer on Mustang Mountain Ranch in the Rockies. Met at the airport by a driver, Jesse, and Alison's cousin Becky, the four are caught in an unexpected snowstorm on the way to the ranch, and the truck slides off the road. Unloading the two horses from the trailer they'd been towing, the teens and the driver try to continue on to the ranch, only to be confronted with other crises. Meg and Becky go in search of the staging area for help but come upon a small cargo plane that has crashed instead; Jesse and Alison are left to cope with an angry grizzly bear. This story is full of holes, including the fact that both passengers and a horse survive the crash with minor injuries. However, for readers who are willing to suspend disbelief, this is an action-packed page-turner with three feisty heroines.-Carol Schene, Taunton Public Schools, MA Copyright 2001 Cahners Business Information.

    Awsome Book!!

This book was really cool. I liked the part best when Alsion started to like Jesse better than just a friend. But my absoulety favorite part is when Meg befriends her 'sky' horse, Silver, and leads him out of the trailer.
