A very nice, relaxing outing from Kapono Beamer, part of the Beamer line of slack key masters. Despite his family, however and his own skills on slack key, the focus of this album isn't so much slack key proper as it is a nostalgic round of easy listening, accented with slack key motives from time to time and handled in the easygoing manner that suits the regional sound so well. Much of the guitar and drum arrangements are from contemporary ideals throughout, but the solos tend to revert to the relaxed slack key.
