    This book will break your heart and change your life!

    This book about the torture that animals suffer at the hands of slaughterhouse workers, in order to provide us with meat, entertainment, and serve as the subjects of medical experimentation will break your heart, but it must be read.

    What really goes on

    This book is very insightful to tell the tale of the very horrifying treatment animals recieve before being put to death. I will never eat meat again after hearing what really goes on.

    I will NEVER eat meat again

    The most eye opening book I have ever read! This should mandatory reading in every school! If the beef industry thought Oprah was a threat they must be shaking in their cowboy boots now! I couldn't stop reading once I started!

    Something People Should Know

    This book is not pleasant reading. It exposes corruption and sadism in slaughterhouses so severe that everyone should be aware of what is going on behind slaughterhouse walls. It is far worse than you can possibly imagine. Pigs regularly scalded to death or beaten to death with lead pipes, limbs chopped off and skin peeled off of cows fully alive and conscious, electric prods stuck into the eyes of animals, workers mutilated, and unsanitary conditions rife with disease--ghastly stuff, all illegal, and all business as usual every day at slaughterhouses. Find out the truth behind what we're paying for. Read this book.
