This reminded me of an old school historical. I loved the tension between the characters and the love scenes had me reaching for a fan.

When fashion meets passion Georgiana will have to decide if she can give up control to experience the love and sensuality she has long denied herself.
Georgiana Talbot is the premier modiste to the ton and firmly on the shelf by her own design. She has four younger sisters that she's determined to see married and settled. Thanks to an outdated law of primogeniture she and her female relatives are left practically destitute until Georgiana takes matters and fashion plates into her own talented hands. With help of a clever assistant and some well dressed ladies, Georgiana's designs are all the rage. Georgiana's plans are quickly and irrevocably thrown off course when Blane MacLaren, Lord Lockerbie, makes a proposal she's helpless to refuse.
The romance of the Regency time period is truly unique to all other eras. The way they dressed, danced, talked and the rules.there are rules for everything. Step back in time with author Debra Glass and enjoy the sweet tension filled courtship of Georgiana and Blane. But don't tell them they're in a relationship, it's just for show and they don't even like each other.mostly.
Ms. Glass has a beautifully vivid writing style that brings the reader right into the scene whither it is on a crowded ballroom in London or the peaceful shores of Loch Dungeon. The story moves at comfortable and natural pace that will keep you engaged from the beginning to end. The dialogue is spot on for the time period including our hero's Scottish dialect. There are a couple of funny situations that keep the story light even as you watch the tension and attraction between Georgiana and Blane grow. All this leads up to a truly satisfying conclusion to their story that will touch your heart and leave a smile on your face.
Ms. Glass has a love for history that shines through her writing. If you crave a fantastic Regency romance with a side of steamy BDSM heat, you will love Slave to Fashion. A fabulous story that easily earned a five cherry rating.
