Getting past that it was a pretty good story I can see it being made into a series of books.

    Not good

This story had promise but it jumped around so much that i got lost and kept having to go back and re-read to make sure i didnt lose anything, which most of the time i didnt. The author just went off on another tangent, leaving that particular thought unfinished. There was a lot of thosr in this book.

I liked the idea od the book, however if reads and feels like a very shaky first draft. Exclamation points abound, even when the qualifying dialogue does not call for extra emphasis. Exclamation points even when comment is not an exclamation and no reason to be one. Grammar, spelling, editing, proofing sorely needed. With help, this book would probably be a good read. As it stands now, it shows author to be lazy, sloppy and unable to follow the style guide for formatting. The sex scenes for most part are highly implausible and for no reason to add to the storyline. I would suggest author get some professional editing and formatting assistance. Once that is done, reload to Smashwords and show us how good the book can be. Good luck to you in your future endeavors.

    153 PAGES

This free, 153 page book was a good read. The bad things were the terrible editing, cursing, rape, different forms of violence, child abuse, murder and lack of much needed details. I liked the plot, the people and the very nice conclusion. I would have given this book five stars if it had been longer, better edited and gave more back ground information on the characters. I would have liked some description of the area as well. This was a fast read. I think all mystery lovers would enjoy it. There is nothing chick lit about it. Because of the violence and other adult themes, I would recommend this book for ages 18 and up.
