Agatha Christie has done it again! Th queen of mystery and in this case murder has crafted another excellent novel involving Miss Marple and newlywed couple Gwenda and Giles. The mystery its self hides deep inside Gwenda's past, involving circumstances many would like to forget. The winding and twisting tale of Gwenda and Giles's hunt for the answer to an ages old mystery along with the assistance of lovable Miss Marple will keep any mytery fan glued to their screen.

This is an okay book to read whenever you don't have anything better to read. Agatha Christie is one of my favourite authors but this book wasn't her best work. Don't get me wrong, I read the book in a few days because I wanted to know who the killer was, but it can get a bit boring and repetitive some times. So, not a horrible book, but not the greatest either.

Very good plot. Having read all of the Miss Marple mysteries, I was able to guess who the killer was. While there is a certain pattern that Agatha Christie uses for all the books in this series, it still held my interest right up to the end. I was sad to see the series end as Miss Marple is such a likeable character. The only thing that could have made this book better was if Christie had told us exactly what the rest of Miss Marple's life had in store for her - if was anything. It was her final case but it did leave things a bit up in the air. I would have liked some further closer. Well edited. Lots of British slang and euphemisms throughout. If you enjoy all things British, Christies books are for you.

This was an excellent book! If you haven't read Agatha Christie before it might be a good one with which to start. It is a very intense cold case with beautiful character development. It has you guessing until the end.... which is really saying something these days! An unbelievable bargain at $2.99. And I thought I had read all of Agatha on bed rest before.....pick it up!

All I anticipated for a Miss. Marple read. Really hooks you in from the beginning. Check it out. Agatha Christy did it again.

I loved this book. I could not put it down. So many twists and turns, I thought I had the murderer figured out a couple of times but was proved wrong. Great story.
