I found Sleighride to be totally entrancing. The method of time travel was refreshingly unique. An interactive cast of characters whose feelings and actions were realistic and held true to the time period made the story even more fascinating. And the final plot twist is completely unexpected yet most satisfying. Sleighride is a worthy addition to the world of time travel and a must read of all fans of romance. 4 Stars!

I can't tell you what a wonderful ride Sleighride was for me! I enjoyed my first foray into a C.J. Winters book. I'm looking forward to reading more from her. Cuddle up to a warm fire with a hot chocolate and enjoy Sleighride from cover to cover. Overall rating: 4.5

Sleighride is a complicated dance through time. Smooth, natural dialogue and an intricate plot keep this excellent time travel moving quickly. There is also plenty of action and suspense to keep the pages turning. It's not until the very end that the truth is revealed to Rey and Kama, and it's a wonderful surprise. Sleighride is a quick, charming read that will entertain from the first page.

    Romance, time travel

    Rey Brodie and Kama Roxbury were on a business trip, but they could not resist the offer of a sleigh ride before flying back home. The light snow becomes a blinding storm. The couple can barely make out lights of a village ahead. They seek shelter in the old Tavern. Peony, dressed in clothing of era, offered them old world hospitality. What they discovered changed their lives forever. Sleighride by C.J. Winters is a beautifully written romance. Rey and Kama are transported back to a simpler time where they meet Ellie and Lache. The lives of the two couples will be intertwined for eternity. The plot is one of great emotion, love, and romance. The characters are delicious. This is must read for fans of romance.
