I may be prejudiced - I've known this book from the beginning. As the publisher, I chose it not only to read but to send it out to the world to help all those struggling with finding sanity from addictions, particularly compulsive overeating. I believe this book does just that, and we launched our recovery and spiritual imprint, EAGLE WINGS PRESS, with this book. OAStepper's honesty is refreshing, sometimes to the point of being startling. She blends well the principals of each of the twelve steps (which Overeaters Anonymous shares with Alcoholics Anonymous except for a single word) with a biblical quotation and an essay, followed by "Slimming Steps," an assignment or thought-starter for the reader. We've been gratified at SILVER BOOMER BOOKS with the many favorable comments from all people, whether or not they are members of a Twelve-Step organization. It is a book for the whole world, SLENDER STEPS TO SANITY - TWELVE STEP NOTES OF HOPE.
