NASCAR driver Logan Perrish returns to Lucky Harbor, Washington, with love in his heart and a ring in his pocket. But can Sandy Jansen forget the past and give him a second chance? Or will Logan be spending another Christmas alone?
My Review:
Short and sweet and so romantic. A perfect little short Christmas romance about Sandy & Logan who hooked up for a torrid affair for one week 5 months ago. It was supposed to be temporary, but neither one has been able to forget it. Now Logan is back to prove that temporary can actually mean forever.
Full of Jill Shalvis' renowned romantic, fun writing, this is the perfect little story set in the beloved town of Lucky Harbor. Logan is Tara's ex and a professional Nascar racecar driver. They are good friends now and we see both her and Jax from the Lucky Harbor series in this book. This is a great little addition to the series!
I'll Be Home for Christmas by Hope Ramsay
My Rating: A+
After ignoring the advice of Miz Miriam Randall, local matchmaker, Annie Roberts expects another hum drum holiday in Last Chance, South Carolina. But when a stray cat arrives in the arms of Army sergeant Matt Jasper, a calico named Holly just may be the best matchmaker of all.
My Review:
OMG! this is what a good Christmas story is all about. Matt has just gotten out of the Army and gone to Last Chance to deliver his buddy Nick's final gift to his grandmother. Matt doesn't have anything to return to for Christmas, but the magical Christmas stories that Nick always told him before he died, lured him to Nick's hometown of Last Chance.
I challenge you to finish this story without a tear in your eye. Wow! An amazing story about the magic of Christmas especially for one heart-worn soldier. Such a good story!
O Little Town of Bramble by Katie Lane
My Rating: A
All Ethan Miller wants for Christmas is to celebrate in Bramble, Texas, with family and friends. But when his childhood neighbor, Samantha Henderson, comes home for the holiday, Ethan realizes that the girl-next-door could be the girl of his dreams.
My Review:
What a fabulously fun little Christmas story. Katie Lane's books always make me laugh out loud and this one was certainly no different. Ethan & Samantha were childhood friends, but then she left for college while he stayed home to help tend the farm for his family. Ethan has always been shy except for with Sam, but when she left, their friendship fell apart. Now she's back with his dream career and education. A holiday miracle is needed to help these find each other and the characters of Bramble, TX are just the folks to provide it.
I giggled and laughed all the way through this story. It is simply good Christmas, heartwarming reading!

I know it's not December, but for those of you who like to plan your reading list ahead, here's a good option. It's a collection of short stories by Jill Shalvis, Hope Ramsey, and Katie Lane. These stories are about just what the main title proclaims - Small Town Christmas.
I like my Christmas stories quaint and homey. These three stories deliver that! Yes, they are romances, which I don't read much of anymore, but they gave me such a warm glow inside as I was reading, I couldn't put the book down.
Each story has characters that are charming and quirky, from the main characters to the friends and family. Christmas is such a focal point in each tale that I could almost smell the cookies and see the tinsel falling from the book as I opened it.
This book is a quick, easy read. There are no in-depth plots as they are short stories. I found myself wanting more, but that will have to be found in the other books from these three lovely authors.

Three short stories about Christmas love in small towns.
Kissing Santa Claus by Jill Shalvis
We find ourselves back in Lucky Harbor where Sandy works at the town hall.
She's not feeling very festive as her boyfriend has walked away from her.
She was just getting into the Santa suit when it got stuck and in he walked,
Logan, Kara's ex husband. He drove NASCAR circuit and was on holiday breaks.
He keeps showing up: at her house, where she works, etc What's the chance that she will get her wish from Santa this year?
I'll Be Home for Christmas by Hope Ramsay
Matt is in town to deliver a gift to Nick's grandmother as he has passed away from the war.
Annie from church rehearsal tells him the grandmother is in the nursing home and has been
for over a year now. Nick and Annie used to date-til he went off to boot camp and she to college.
She decides to take him back to her house where there is a guest room and he's overjoyed
at viewing the lights, he can feel snow in the air in SC and he loves the smell of the real holiday tree at her house. He's got a cat with him that was nestled in the manger scene.
He is all up for decorating her tree for room and board.
Matt just wants to feel like he's home as he doesn't have one and he's lost his dog in the war.
They all get in the church van to go deliver the gift to Nick's grandmother and boy do they get a surprise.
O Little Town of Bramble by Katie Lane
Ethan loved the town all spiffed up for the holidays.
Sam, who he used to pull her pigtails, taught her to fish, and ride a horse was back in town. She had graduated from college and was now a doctor for animals.
Sam visits with her father and surprises him for Christmas and they share dinner.
A manger with live animals and people!
Good reads for holidays.

I will admit that after reading The Sweetest Thing, Logan Perrish WAS NOT my favorite person. I did not feel sympathy for him at all! But I have to say, I did start to like him a little bit in Kissing Santa Claus. I just wish the story was a little bit longer.
I¿ll Be Home for Christmas by Hope Ramsay was the first book of hers that I have read. I have to admit that I finished reading the book in the middle of the night and instead of going to sleep, I had to look up other books of hers. I can NOT explain how much I loved this book. Immediately I fell for Sergeant Matt Jasper. After everything that he¿s been through, his word is his honor. It doesn¿t matter what he has to go through, in order to accomplish what he promised he would do¿ I look forward to visiting Last Chance again.
O Little Town of Bramble is the first book I¿ve read by Katie Lane. Of the three books in this collection, this was probably my least favorite. And that¿s not a knock against the author. Being a small town Texas girl myself, I didn¿t really want to visit. However, sometimes I think there¿s a lot to be said about small town Texas boys. I won¿t necessarily say that Ethan is every girls dream. But he is definitely one of those guys that your mother tells you will make you happy, if you only give him a chance. The best part about Christmas is that the season is magical. I think Sam is a lucky girl to have ever met Ethan and had him be a part of her life. It just takes her longer to realize that than me.
Overall, these are three good, if not great stories. I don¿t think that you will be disappointed. Enjoy.

I loved each story, but it was a short read (136 pages at most). Catch the nookbook now at 2.99. I wouldn't pay more than that.

I like the author Jill Shalvis, so when I spotted this book I got it. Enjoyed her story a great deal but had never read anything by the other authors. To my surprise I enjoyed each story as much as Jill Shalvis'. Hoping to read more by all three authors.

I have to say by far my favorite story is Shalvis. Both Lane and Ramsay wrote good stories too. I just enjoyed the one more. It was a great way to relax during a very busy time.

There are very few books I quit reading, this is one of them, after the unChristmaslike language got worse; I quit.
