    A Must Read

This is a book that every girl, and even every man, should read. Years ago I read all of Erma Bombeck's books and enjoyed them tremendously because they related to my family life at the time. Until now I never thought any book could compare to the humor in those books. In my estimation, Ms Grambs is the 21st Century Erma Bombeck. The Smart Girl's Guide to Getting Even is a hilarious example of probably every situation the modern girl finds herself in at one time or another. For every situation there is an extremely funny solution or suggestion as to how to handle it. This is a hysterically funny book that will keep you laughing even after you have read it.

Revenge Has Never Been This Sweet Before!

The Smart Girl's Guide to Getting Even is totally fun. I found myself laughing out loud at Alison Grambs' take on revenge and how to get it. As any Smart Girl knows (and even those of us who aren't so smart!) there are people out there just waiting to annoy us. Getting even -- or just reading about getting even -- is the way to go. And if you're like me, a little timid about putting into action some of the hilarious scenarios Grambs has put out there, don't feel defeated. Just curl up on the couch with a box of Cheez-Its and this cute, shockingly-pink book. Then, get ready to laugh. Grambs has done all the work, and she tells it as she sees it. She gives you lots of shocking ideas that you'll dream about with glee, even if you dare not act. Planning revenge is almost as sweet as the real thing. Who knows? You may end up trying some of her irreverent suggestions and laughing at the very next person who gets in your space. This book turns smart push-overs into smarter powerhouses.

Smart Girls Guide to Getting Even

My girlfriend bought this book for me last week. I was having a really bad week and needed some serious cheering up. Boy, did this do the job! This book takes the self-help genre to a whole new level! And I couldn't stop laughing as I read each chapter. 'I was the nut people would see giggling on the subway while reading this book.' Alison Grambs covers so many great topics- from how to get even with annoying people you work with, to cheap friends and sleazy boyfriends, and wacky family members who drive you nuts. She even has a section for ways to get even with your gynecologist! And what girl doesn't want to do that, right? I love how big the book is, too. 'unlike a lot of self-help and humor books, you really get your money's worth with it. There are quizzes you can take to see if you are a pushover, really funny descriptions of all the annoying people in the world you might need to get revenge on, and the revenge bits are broken up into three different categories- the subtle approach, the not-so subtle approach, and the 'you're going to hell approach.' And while you may not have the guts to try the tactics, they sure are fun to read about! The Smart Girl Greeting cards are really funny too- I recommend this book to any woman who needs to start taking back her life. A great gift idea too! Getting Even has never been so fun!

Smart Girls Guide to Getting Even

Totally fun book. More of a humor book than a self-help book in my opinion- it just makes you laugh and want to keep turning the page. Imagine Sex In the City meets Mad TV. The cover makes you think it's only about how to get even with men, but it's soooo much more. The author covers all sorts of topics from how to get even at work, with frustrating gal pals, and even mean bus drivers and store clerks and, of course, family pets. My favorite was the revenge stuff for the Evil Stepmother ''Satan In Pantyhose'' I bought copies for all my bridesmaids...yikes! Now I hope they never get mad at me!
