Smashes, Crashes and Near Misses: The Best of the Records

4.0 1
by The Records

The Records may not have been great innovators but they undeniably made some of the best singles of the era. Smashes, Crashes and Near Misses, a 20-track collection, is the definitive proof of the band's generally overlooked brilliance. Anyone interested in power-pop should start here.
