    Not 3.0

I was disappointed that I discovered after downloading this book (non-refundable on Nook) the book is targeted to version 2.8. I figured that since 3.0 was into beta at the time of publishing it would cover some of the issues I'm running into with 3.0, but no such luck. I'm sure there is plenty of good information that is still usable in here; what I've looked at thus far seems quite useful to a moderate-strong PHP developer.

I guess this is a lesson for this new Nook owner: always read the free preview, and carefully.

    Behold the power of Wordpress

This is the ultimate book for developers who want to develope their own themes, plugins, widgets and anything else custom in Wordpress.

This will take you step by step in teaching you how to develope any type of theme, moving dynamic sidebars, writing and using custom widgets. Basically for the advanced Wordpress user who wants to use Wordpress in a on-traditional way, or to use it as a fully functioning CMS.

If you are looking at this book, you no doublt know of Smashing Magazine's expertise in all things design.

I suggest you buy this immedietly.

This book is for version 2.8

I downloaded the free sample and it clearly states its for version 2.8, NOT 3.1 as indicated in the Overview, so beware. Hopefully this gets fixed soon.
