You may cry during the night, but joy comes in the 'morning'

I found this book to be uplifting, inspiring and rejuvenating. It reconfirmed my faith in knowing that all things are possible and work to the good for those who love the Lord. Not only did her spirit of survival kick in but her spirit of thanks as well. Please, keep up the good work and continue to be used to inspire others with your story

I recommend this book- it deserves 5 stars

I was totally enthralled by Smiling Thru the Tears and did not put it down until I had read every last word. What an incredibly strong woman and what a wonderfully written account of her battle with breast cancer. Her faith, her strength, and her convictions were both motivating and inspiring. What a beautifully and poignantly written book of poetry. I never imagined an autobiography written in poetry however, this was done so impeccably well. I am inviting this lady to do a Book Signing/ Meet the Author in England. I predict great things for this author. This book is a definite must have and Ms. deLeon- Lewis is a survivor in every sense of the word. Kudos.

This is a really wonderful book!

This is the most insightful, uplifting, and well-written book I've read in a very long time. It is a collection of inspirational and spiritual poetry. It is the story about one courageous woman's hope, determination, winning spirit, and faith in God. Pamela's very personal thoughts, written in poetry form, takes readers through the unfolding of a remarkable turning point in her life. The author's inner beauty and keen sense of humor shines brightly in the midst of the physical and emotional pain she endured. She describes her very real cancer, which she has creatively named 'DeMon'. This is a book filled with optimism and would make a thoughtful gift of cheer, as well as a keepsake for your own bookshelf. - Deb Warren, Massachusetts
