Meet the Author


Warren Yahr came to Idaho in the 1940s as a 16 year old Wisconsin teenager to work for the Forest Service and became a lookout at the remote Bungalow Ranger Station 28 miles from Pierce, Idaho. He lives with his wife, Carol, on Planting Ground Lake in Three Lakes, Wisconsin.
