DO NOT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON THIS BOOK.  I would not recommend this book for purchase, if you do a little  research on your own on this topic you will find everything that is included in this book on the internet, it contains very basic information .  His "secret recipe" rub  and "sauce recipe" is not worth spending on this book to get.  It is less than basic and any novice smoker would not use it, esp. if you want to become a competitive  smoker.  I really wish I would have not spent my money and time on this. Hope this saves others their time and money

Love this cookbook. I recently purchased a smoker and this is a companion cookbook. Easy directions, straight forward - ingredients I have at home. Love it.

Best book I have found for smoking meat. I use a pellet smoker, the book works well for that type of cooker.
