    BEST BOOK YET!!! I'M SMITTEN!!!

FANTASTIC!!! Best book yet. I've read all of Penelope's novels so far. And I am blown away, to a point fanatical.... inspired. She is an incredible writer. Please look past the grammatical errors. We can not all be perfect. I loved the Rae novels but as a writer, she has progressed in Smolder; this is by far her best novel yet. I love the characters. I laughed out loud, (to the point my husband thinks I am legally insane and pretty sure he wants to confinscate my Nook), cried and want to kill some of the characters myself. No, I will no give anything away. I can not wait until Burn (#2 in the series). I told you I was semi Fanatical. :) It is a semi fast read. And though the first few chapters are a little confusing, the rest is IRRESISTABLE!!!! I can not say it more than you won't be diappoineted. TEAM PENELOPE!!!!

Dragon riders eat your heart out

As a life long fan of the dragon riders of pern I can honestly say I have found a new dragon series to love. I can not wait for the next one to come out. I tried desperately to makethis book last a while but it was just too good, and I finished it in three days.
The love story is compelling and the charachters are believable. The female is a strong, likeable character. Though she is chasing after love she is not the typical week, willed female, but a true fighter. Her counter part is a complex character, whose behavior, though outrageous at first, becomes more and more tragic. The classic dark hero that you have to cheer for. Of course the supporting characters are just as fleshed out and endering. These Dragons ad their world draw you in and keep drawn in. By the end of the story you'll be just as eager for burn as I am.

I am now going to attempt to explain this story in a way that do

I am now going to attempt to explain this story in a way that doesn't sound stupid (this is really going to test me as a writer). Marina, our heroine, was taking a lovely stroll in a meadow when the sky caught on fire. Then a dragon crash landed in front of her so she got on it's back and passed out. After awakening she poured a bunch of whiskey on its side and staple gunned its stomach back together. Surprisingly (or perhaps not so surprising) the dragon turned into a really hot naked man who was then joined by his two really hot naked brothers (also bad ass dragons). The trio immediately starts to fight over this sexy women until Marina knocks them all out with rocks. Then she falls in love with Mr. Staple Gunned gut, who turns out to be the king of dragons, and runs away to their world. However the king of dragons is a hot commodity and is being hunted by every female in the kingdom. Love, triangles, sex, and male jealousy ensues leaving the reader strangely on the edge of their seat and turning pages...read full review at theofficebooks.blogspot

    more from this reviewer

    Great Novel

I really likes the idea behind the book. I have never read a book before about a human turning into a dragon. The book did just end which makes you want to read the next one write away. This book is a bit slow at first but it does pick up. I really enjoyed it and if you like dragons then you should read it too.

    I really enjoyed this book.
Its got a sense of humor that I love and a steamy romance to boot, with lots of excitement in between.
My only question is where is the sequel, Burn?
I've been searching for the past hour and cannot even tell when the rekease date is.
Anybody found this book yet?  I can't wait to continue the adventure!

I has a wonderful time reading this book. I have fallen hoplessly in love with the world and characters. Ms. Penelope waists no time in jumping right into the action, this book is fast paced and exciting to read. I have personally come off of it with a high. I recommend this book to everyone.

Can't stop reading this book!! A must read for all ages:)

Your pulled in within the first chapter! Your curiosity gets the best of you by chapter two and then you find yourself holding your breath waiting for what happens next with each turn of the page. This book has been out a while and I've read this story 5 times now but the story just gets better. I love Penelope's style of writing and her details of the charters pulls you in right from the start. Can't wait till Burn comes out!

    Ok, a little predictable

Had a great opening but quickly became one of those, "we are meant for each other, don't let the other know, lots of misunderstandings, etc." With a little more background character developement, and more details about her training as the story progresses, the story would have been much better.
