Meet the Author

“Doing all the little tricky things it takes to grow up, step by step, into an anxious and unsettling world.” Sylvia Plath

Use our step by step process to learn and grow both professionally, and personally. And don’t worry you won’t end up putting your head in an oven like Sylvia Plath. The end result will be more akin to the brilliance of a quote like that, not the end result of its author’s life. Wizards Books self-help series is the thing you need to educate you on a variety of topics.

However Sylvia Plath was right in her assertion about the ways of the world, most things in life need to be done step-by-step. We have enhanced that age old rule, and with step-by-step wizard books we teach the masses to rein in their creativity in all types of fields, and take it a step at a time.

Have you often thought, your imagination is spent, you’re sick and tired of never achieving your real potential, you’re stuck in a rut, where do you go from here? The Step-by-step series can help you get out of all that, and achieve positive real world results in any field.

We distill information, so you get a concise picture of what needs to be done. Unlike any other self-help book out there, step-by-step guides you through whatever process you seek to learn, and instead of just giving you information, they help you grow as an individual.

Just think, you will no longer need to seek out advice on any subject ever again.
Step-by-steps how to guides will show you how it’s done, and then how to do it right. It’s the last self-help tool you will ever need, think of us as your own personal self-help guru, on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Great frozen treat that is so easy a five year old can do it

Smoothies make one of the most delicious treats to eat.  They are a great way to be able to eat a healthy and delicious frozen treat.  Smoothies are also a great way to have a healthy breakfast or lunch that you can take with you, when you are in a hurry.  Smoothies offer a healthy alternative and are very easy to make.  When you eat a smoothie, you are making sure that you doing something that not only tastes great, but it can be effective in making you look great too.

This book offers some great smoothie ideas, while not having to make you suffer from feeling guilty for having something that is not healthy.  Stephen Williams is great at finding ways to make healthy foods taste good.  My five year old is addicted to the smoothies that we make.  She loves to be able to make them.  Many of the smoothie ideas in here are easy enough for her to be able to make.  She gets the biggest joy out of being able to make smoothies for her mommy and daddy.

This has been a fun way for her to be able to learn about measurements.  She makes the smoothies and will measure out most of the ingredients of count what is needed on her own to make sure that it is the right amount.  This gives us a great bonding experience that ends with a very delicious treat.  Stephen Williams created an e-book that is able to bring busy families together over something that everyone will be able to enjoy on the go.

Smoothies are great treats especially on warm summer days. It’s refreshing, cooling and delicious to boot! Smoothies are easy to make and they are good for your health. Unlike sodas and other processed drinks, smoothies are made from fresh fruits and/ or vegetables blended well together with ice. You can mix anything with it to fit your taste buds and your health.
Smoothies: Fabulous Nutrition by Stephen William is a good book to start with. It shares the benefits for smoothies and its components. The words used are easy to grasp and the flow is light and witty. I really appreciate the informative comments and the easy to follow recipes. Who knew getting fit and healthy could be this easy? If you’re a newbie on the smoothie department, this book will guide you step by step. It’s a smoothie manual!
Stephen Williams made it a point to help those who want to stay fit and healthy to have fun in the process. Nutrition books like this will encourage you to shape up and clean up your act. Go ahead and get a smoothie instead of a soda. Your taste buds and your body will thank you for it.
Do note that if you’re a diabetic, you might need to consult with your doctor first. In my case, I just cut back on the sugar if I want the taste but less of the calories. This is a must read for those planning on a healthier lifestyle and for moms who are having a difficult time feeding their children.

    Healthy food = healthy life!

This book is about healthy food in details. We all know that is important, but our busy schedule and day-to-day routine keep us from using a reasonable menu. The most part of healthy food recipes, proposed in the Internet and in some books, are not suitable for me – too much time they require.  However, this book has unexpectedly simple advices how to stay young and healthy. Even if you have a few-minutes break, you can take one of those useful smoothies.

The other important moment is that proposed food and drinks are tasty. Being in good fit or weight loss doesn’t require eating disgusting or strange dishes. Here “healthy” really means “tasty”.  Fruits and vegetables are in the main focus of Stephen Williams. He tells about their almost magical characteristics. I don’t really believe in so  “panacea” and in the fact, that it could work so quickly, but it’s no doubt – eating fruits and vegetables are very useful for your heath. So, we all can try some of the “green drinks” recipes. And if we like it – it’s great, as they are easy and quick in preparation. I believe in such type of books you can use some percent of information and this will help to stay young and in a good mood.

    A HEALTHY CHOICE

Reading this book can be so fun and interesting, because once again Stephen Williams is concerned about nutrition.
In the other book "Easy Vegetarian Recipes", he suggests many tasteful and vegetarian recipes, that can be tried by vegetarians and not. This time with "Smoothies" Stephen Williams uses veggies and fruits, but to make delicious smoothies. Readers will find many smoothie recipes, which are a combination of taste and healthy ingredients.
You will start looking at veggies and fruits in a very different way, making them an important part of your everyday diet. Williams' writing style is always full of clearnes and can be easily understood by everyone: he chooses to address to various kinds of people, not just who needs to lose weight and wants to find his/her good shape agan. We all can start reading "Smoothies", and soon will decide to prepare  some of them at once! I think that Williams has had a very good idea, even for women who want to revive their cooking, for instance for their husbands: I'm certainly one of them, because I'm always looking for new recipes to amaze my husband, who likes veggies and fruits. So, someday I want to make my first choice, among these smoothie recipes; I guess they could also be a good way to finish a meal, lunch or dinner. So, if you're looking for a new and interesting, but above all this healthy recipes, get your copy of "Smoothies" by Stephen Williams, and I'm sure you won't stop reading until the last recipe.

Have you had your smoothie today?
Think smoothies and visions of thick luscious mounds of creamlike substance in a tall glass comes to mind, my favorite being mango laced with yoghurt. Smoothies are the new lunch for those on the run with the double recipe for health and losing weight. Smoothies no doubt are full of nutrition especially home-made ones. I do have a sneaking suspicion for any store-bought stuff.
There are undoubtedly variations in smoothies limited only by the range of food available within your food supply. Tasting and experimenting with new and exotic tastes is a delightful foray into the world of smoothie land. Dragonfruit and  strawberries or mangosteen and apples.
Stephen Williams has found the right pulse of  those who are into health and wellness. Smoothies are chockfull of nutrients and everything your grandmother recommended. William’s espouses his smoothie recipes as a mantra for good living which cannot be denied.  The combinations  found in his book is food for thought and is worth a try if you are looking for a change to your normal diet. As Willam’s has mentioned, through smoothies, youth and beauty is just a doorstep away with the whittling away of love handles.

    more from this reviewer

    Mmmmm. . .Smoooooothieee

A soon as I saw the title of Stephen Williams's "Smoothies: Fabulous Nutrition," I couldn't help but laugh out loud. Just the title of his book made me think of the iconic Homer Simpson, holding his omnipresent can of Duff beer and intoning, "Mmmmmm---beeeeeeeeer."

Hence the title for this review.

Seriously, who would take the time and effort to compose a book about the numerous ways in which to concoct and consume a fruit drink? I honestly figured that the author must have really been desperate for a topic. I immediately thought of that classic best-seller, "Know Your Chameleon." (I did have that book many years ago, and yes, I did have a chameleon when I was a teenager. His name was Robert. Not that it matters, but still...)

Despite my initial snickering, I soon discovered that Williams really knew what he was writing about. While I would not immediately think of him as a culinary connoisseur, it is evident that he brings passion and excitement to his readers, based upon my numerous reviews of his previous books.

Williams's forte is health and wellness, in addition to his Esquire-esque writings that offer sound dating advice for men. His natural ebullience and concern for peoples' health is evidenced by his assertion in "Smoothie" that "every shake is a new step towards healthy living and wellness!" (introduction)

"Smoothies" is a perfect example of how far healthy eating has evolved in our society---witness the saturated cookbook market. Take a casual stroll through the nearest Barnes and Noble bookstore and you will be able to pick up the latest foodie tome ghost-written for a celebrity who is doing nothing more than cashing in on what has become a very lucrative market. Normally, I avoid taking seriously any product that certain media-hungry people promote, simply because I dislike the excess materialism that they epitomize, and I really don't feel like contributing my hard-earned dollars (after taxes, of course) to enriching their coffers.

I admit, I would probably peruse one of these if, say, Kobe Bryant was on the cover---simply because it would strike me as being completely ridiculous. Same thing goes for Newt Gingrich. Or Ted Nugent.

Williams provides the reader numerous smoothie recipes for improving one's health. He takes into consideration the fact that there are certain individuals who simply eschew exercise like the plague, and he exhorts them to take small steps so that larger, long-term goals may be set and attained. His concern is evident throughout "Smoothies," despite the rah-rah, Veg-o-Matic tone he periodically displays: "(Smoothies) are the gift of youth and beauty! If you're like everybody else, you've probably made a long list of excuses not to eat right. You don't have time, you don't have money. . .(Smoothies) are ready in a matter of minutes and even a (three-year-old) could make them, they don't cost much. . .and are simply delicious" (introduction).

Williams stresses that "fruits and veggies are your allies." In many respects this is a true statement: scientists and biologists have been discovering benefits of living as healthy a lifestyle as possible for many years, and have provided countless sources of data that corroborate the benefits of eating fruits and vegetables: leafy and dark greens such as spinach, artichoke and okra help fight cancer; chili peppers contain capsacin, a chemical t
