For lovers of the Onion!

This book could have been put out by the publishers of the venerable Onion (motto: ¿America¿s Finest News Source¿). Snafu U. describes itself as ¿America¿s First Seventh Choice.¿ The Snafu U. creed states: ¿To boldly explore the synergy between What you are capable of learning and What you are capable of owing.¿ In case you haven¿t guessed, this book is a parody of all those glossy college flyers that ply prospective students on the extreme merits of their fine institution. Each section will bring a smile to your face. Some pages may even bring back memories of what your college was really like (as opposed to what was promised in the glossy brochure). Photos are humorous and have many visual clues. And the beauty of Snafu U. is that ¿You¿re in! Pre-approved application enclosed!¿ Also, how many schools in promoting their facilities will have pictures of the various bathrooms to be found on campus? If you don¿t know the significance of the name ¿Snafu,¿ I suggest you consult a dictionary¿or ask a friend who¿s been in the military. This book should be a favorite among The Onion reading crowd.
