    Rivetting

In a takedown of eco terrorists who had already killed many FBI agents, Christine Rossi was the one who killed many of them as they were preparing to do more damage. It was a righteous bust and the media made her a heroine which caused the powers that be to transfer her to a new assignment. Their superiors want her to work on a task force aimed at bringing snake heads (human smugglers) Sam Chow and his son Joe down. They have new way of smuggling human cargo into the United States and everyone wants to know how it is done because if they can successfully bring them in, they can bring in terrorists on the same route.------- Although Rossi is fascinated with the eco-terrorist case, the people involved aren¿t fascinated with her. The leader wants her dead for destroying his cell and hires an assassin to do it. Joe Chow also wants Rossi dead for her role in making him go on the run after he committed a killing. Rossi finds herself and her daughter in trouble and her only hope comes with a man she thought she could love, a man she told to get lost because he did something she discovered he did something perverted even though she knows he cared for her.------- Readers get an insightful look into the life of an FBI agent, a woman who lost her husband in a divorce and her daughter because she wasn¿t home for days at a time. In spite of that setback, the heroine believes she is doing something worthwhile with her life and is proud to be an agent. This is a mind blowing action thriller that readers will become absorbed in from the first chapter to the last page. They will want and need to know how the storyline ends.----- Harriet Klausner
