Great pictures. Needs to have info about each snake collected with the picture. Writing too wordy, format too dense for intent of book -- I assume 2-4th grade? -- and not enough herpetological info given, I bought this for my 9-year-old grandaughter, who is very interested in snakes, and she glanced through it and set it aside.
