Overview

It’s impossible to go a full day without using snark, so why fight it? Snark is everywhere, from television to movies to everyday life. This lively collection provides hours of entertainment—better than an Etch A Sketch, and more fun than Silly Putty! At the heart of it, being in a state of snark can be one of the most useful tools at one’s disposal and hence (yes, I used “hence”), a powerful way to get what you want. With snark, you can catch people completely off-guard, and royally piss them off.

Included here is the Snark Hall of Fame, the Best Snarky Responses to Everyday Dumbassness, and much more. It’s a book that will make you laugh. It’s a book that will make someone else cry. It’s a book every student of the American psyche (that’s all of us, Sparky) needs to have. Let loose. Let your inner anger become a positive rather than a negative, but most of all, have fun. (Yeah, like that’s something you know how to do.)

    Not a fan

Its like a badly, mistyped collection of others' work.

    I Also Recommend:

CAUTION: Don't read this in church!

The word "Snark" grabbed my immediate attention. It's defined as: biting wit, a smartass remark, a slyly disparaging comment, a bastardization of "snide remark." (Preface, p. ix)

This is a book you might pick up as a gift, only to discover that you MUST have a copy for yourself! From numerous sources, Dorfman has brought together a rollicking collection of anecdotes and observations guaranteed to generate laugh-out-loud responses. Its fourteen sections cover the gamut of life's experiences, from Sex to Death and Dying, as credited to numerous pundits or to no one at all.

An appendix gives the reader a boost toward becoming an accomplished snarker and includes some great answering machine messages. If you believe laughter is the best medicine, The Snark Handbook is the ultimate first-aid kit!

I cannot stop laughing. Share this with the world

Besides the current snarky comments which make me laugh and chuckle for hours are the historic references. Who knew people have always been so uniquely and subtly humorous all this time..Yeats and Henny Youngman on the same page!! Who knew. thank you for brightening days when I just needed a good laugh Larry.. and I really care! That younger person inside me really is wondering ..what happened.
