About the Author

Josephine (Josie) is 92 years young in this year of 2023. She makes her home in Apache Junction, Arizona, living close to two of her sons and two of her daughters. Family is everything to this woman who enjoys sharing time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Looking back over her lifetime, she decided to share some memories of her past and how the Bsales and the Kaspar families originated and grew.

A mother of seven, Josie enjoys her life, sharing events in this book, reading, and making Middle Eastern dishes including Syrian cheese, yebrak, kibbeh, and other family favorites.
