- Foreign rights sold to Russia, Great Britain, Mexico and India.

- Discusses every modem weapon in the Snore Wars arsenal, from self-help to the latest in laser surgery.

Completely revised, updated and expanded version of Stop Your Husband From Snoring, by the same author. Earlier edition was published by Rodale Press in 1990. Officially out-of-print, the earlier edition sold more than 60,000 copies in paperback and hardbound.

Snoring has rightly been called "the night's worst nuisance". However, it also has a serious side. Snoring From A To ZZZZ should readily find a place on the night-table of every snorer--and there is at least one in every household! Medical and surgical solutions are offered in an easily understood, non-technical style. This complete guide will show snorees that they no longer need to take their partner's snoring lying down.

Editorial Reviews

Mike Tribby
Otolaryngologist Lipman gives information on and advice for treating a condition that was mostly untreated and untreatable before the 1980s and that is now known to be not just an annoying attribute in a bedmate but an indicator of possible health problems. As medical knowledge of an especially serious snoring-associated condition, sleep apnea, has grown, so have treatment options for snorers. Once sleep apnea is identified in a snorer, the options are mainly surgical and mechanical. Certain operations may--or may not--alleviate the problem; alternatively, devices such as the C-PAP machine may be employed to stop the snoring. Lipman explains the reasoning behind the implementation and the chances for success of these and other treatments. With anecdotes and cartoons as well as soberer information, he also touches on such matters as why men snore more than women and why summer snoring is louder. Given the serious implications of chronic snoring, a cheerful, reliable popular guide to it is a welcome addition to the popular medical shelves.
