About the Author

Dianna Winget has written several nonfiction books for children as well as many articles and stories for children’s magazines. She has also written a middle grade novel, A Smidgen of Sky (Harcourt, 2012).
Dianna lives in the beautiful mountains of north Idaho with her husband and daughter, as well as two small dogs, Lacey the Chihuahua and Sassie the Daschund.
