Snow on the Palms
PALM BEACH'S #1 BESTSELLER. For two decades Palm Beach socialite and film producer George Williams exchanged his tuxedo for a flight suit and surreptitiously flew millions of dollars of marijuana, cocaine and cash between Colombia, the Bahamas and Florida, evading U.S. Customs, DEA, the FBI, federal task forces and the local police. A fixture at balls, charity events and social gatherings, Williams became a top cocaine supplier for the tuxedo and tiara set on the island, having survived a crash landing in the Bahamas. As a recognized blackjack professional and author, he laundered his cash through Las Vegas casinos disguised as winnings. Williams appeared on Regis and other shows, and filmed commercials for American Express, Miller Lite and others.

Code named Snow White by the C.I.A., never caught, his true identity never revealed, this is the amazing memoir of the man who shuttled between the Colombian drug lords of Medellin, the remote jungle airstrips of Honduras, the casinos of Las Vegas and the ballrooms and glitter of Palm Beach. With acerbic wit, he names names and pulls back the curtain on a segment of society rarely seen outside the drawing rooms and clubs of Palm Beach.

About the Author

George Williams is a motion picture producer, award-winning screenwriter and actor, with musical score credits on three films. Author of Blackjack to Win, George has been barred from play in Las Vegas casinos as well as cruise ships throughout the Caribbean. He has had numerous television and radio appearances, including Regis Philbin and NPR. As lead guitarist for The Living Dead and other groups, he recorded for Capitol and Columbia Records and played with the great Roy Buchanan.

A perpetual entrepreneur, George founded several companies including Capitol Pictures, and was instrumental in shaping the Bayh-Dole Act along with Senators Birch Bayh and Ted Kennedy.

George is most proud to have been the goalkeeper shutting out the British World Cup championship team in an exhibition match. An avid pilot who has owned various aircraft, he still flies but these days avoids Central America.
