The North Pole isn't what she expected; her illusions are destroyed, and she doesn't know who to trust. Except for her Horse, and a sexy Jack Frost who may be her best ally yet.

    Fun and poignant

While set in the horseman universe, which I am a big fan of, this story is a fun foray into the not-quite cannon possibilities. It also serves to highlight the true meaning of the season. It's a quick read and, if you've never read about the Horseman yet, you'll likely want to when you are done. She's got spine, spunk, and smarts without being cold or offputting. She is the kind of woman I like to read about.
