National award winning artist Stephen Heigh has created this enchanting story for children ages two through eight. This is a story about hope and believing. This touching story is luminously illustrated with winter vistas from ¿Woodstream County.¿ Colorful illustrations depict scenes from the narrative of this striking story of two children and a whole community hoping for a snowfall. An image of a snowman in the moon appears to the children and gives them hope. They tell the townspeople of the snowman in the moon and then dream of building a twenty foot snowman. Dubious but hoping the townspeople pray that the children¿s dreams will come true. During the night Woodstream County experience the largest snowfall of their history. In the morning all the people come together to build a large snowman. Later, in the evening while the people enjoyed their sculpture, the snowman in the moon smiled down them. They smiled back at the moon as they saw the snowman in the moon. As though by magic, the unseen hope had become a reality. This is a delightful book for gift giving and will draw the interest of both children and their parent as hope is fulfilled and becomes reality. Captivating!
