My 11 month-old granddaughter wore the first one out and we had to buy a new one. 'Kept reaching for the pop-up Elmo, and eventually he ripped one time too many!' We read it every day. She will be in the middle of tearing around the house and you ask, 'should we read Elmo?'. She stops dead in her tracks, runs to the book shelf to search for it, backs into our lap, and plops down. We need to read it more than once, each sitting. She turns the pages and can hardly wait to see Elmo pop-up at the end!

My son loves this book! I started reading it to him when he was about 3 months, and now at 6 months I am still reading it every day. His face just lights up when he sees the cover. He loves the bright colors and the elmo that pops up at the end. We always have to read it several times in a row before I can move on to a new book.

My 4 month old loves this book! She smiles and gets excited when I show her the cover and she squeals when I start turning the pages. I read it to her almost every day!

This is my son's favorite book. He's all smiles when I read it to him. The last page has a big Elmo pop up and he thinks it's great.

This book features big, colorful photos and baby-friendly rhymes. It shows you what Baby Elmo can do as an older baby/toddler. The last page has a large pop-up of Elmo that my baby loves.

My 16 month old still loves this book. She loves copying all of the things Elmo does. The pop up is by far her favorite and has been taped a gazillion times because she loves pulling on it unfortunately. Great purchase!

My little brother, who is 2 years old, loves this book so much. He cannot read in full sentences yet, but he loves this book so much that he has practically memorized it. I enjoy reading this classic story. It is educationally engaging. If my brother could talk, I would bet 4 million dollars that this is what he would say, "I love this book! It is funny and awesome. Read it again." By now, I've read it to him about 4,521,988 times.(rough estimate!) I look forward to buying more of the Sesame Street books...as much as my brother looks forward to reading them again, and again, and again!!! All in all, this book deserves a ovation that is so big!!!

I purchased this book for my 6 month-old daughter, who loves it, but so does my 4 year-old daughter. I was specifically looking for an age appropriate Elmo book for my 6 month-old and this was the only one I could find in the store that fit the bill. She loves how Elmo pops out at the end of the book and she gets very excited. Great book!

My son is turning one and he still loves this book! We got it for him at about 5 mo. He loves the pop up-surprise at the end. Very simple illustrations and has a rhyming story. We read this almost every night at bedtime. It is his favorite.

My 7 month old granddaughter spotted this book in the store and screamed for it. She absolutely loves this book. It is her favorite of all the ones we have. We have been reading it for 2 months now and she points to her nose and her toes and says Da-Da-Da at all the right spots. If she is cranky, we just have to ask if she wants to read Elmo and she smiles and goes to get it. The only negative I have is that I have to read the book about 5 times in a row before something else grabs her attention. I can "read" her this story without looking at the book.

This book is bright with contrasting backgrounds with simple pictures of Elmo doing a different action on each page. It is a fun book for my daughter, as we also do the actions that Elmo is doing, from touching tickley toes to so big. It's the only book at Barnes and Noble we looked at with our daughter and when I put it back on the shelf she started to cry and this was when she was 5 1/2 months old. We have read it almost every day since.
